  • Yes! We offer wedding ceremonies and receptions in BOTH of our Event spaces.

  • Our downstairs Studio can accommodate 125-150. Upstairs Loft can accommodate 175-200. Numbers are based on seating with or without tables.

  • Dates are dependent on availability. We offer events 7 days per week. Please contact us for your dates availabilty.

  • Tours must be scheduled through text, phone, email or website.

  • We offer affordability to our clients when choosing their unique special occasion venue. Total Budget is dependent on many aspects. We strive to make the venue affordable and special.

  • We require TWO HOUR minimum on all rentals.

  • We do not restrict your vendor choices. We can offer a selection of vendors by request.

  • The Pennington is conveniently located near I-75 Hotels and lodging. We are affiliated with 2 Airbnb cottages within 1-2 blocks of The Pennington. Airbnb availability based on reservations.

  • Our venue is completely inside. Its always Sunny at The Pennington.

  • Access of venue starts and ends at your designated time. Please allow extra time allowance for decorating/set up and packing up after your event when setting your contracted time.

Booking FAQs

  • Contact us with your ideal date and always try to provide a backup date. Dates are officially booked with signed contract and booking down payment. To reserve a date email us at the.pennington.info@gmail.com saying you are ready to book XYZ date, if it is still available. We suggest you email us stating you are ready to book your preferred date and then include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable. Prior to booking a date, we hope you are able to come in person to tour the venue. You can request a tour (or a Facetime tour if you live out of the area) on our tour request page, but an in person tour is not required prior to booking a date. Dates are reserved on a first requested basis. Whomever has requested to start the contract process from us by email first for a specific date will be first in line. There is a 48 hour time limit on non contractual dates before the date is released.

  • When the contract is signed, to continue holding the date, we require a booking fee to be paid. The installment payments will be required (based on time) prior to the event. You are welcome to send smaller, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due date, so in effect creating your own payment plan on your own schedule. Please include the last names of the couple and the wedding date in the memo line if you are mailing a check. Full payment is due by the specified due date. We also request a credit card on file for any damages to the facility or grounds. Tax is applied to each payment.

  • We accept cash, checks, Venmo, Apple Pay and bank transfer.

  • No, When an event is booked it is rarely rescheduled.

Catering FAQs

  • All catering choices are left up to client. Vendor lists available upon request.

  • All catering options including food, beverages and alcohol are between client and their chosen caterer.

  • We do not restrict any catering or bar vendors. You have the ability to choose who you prefer to use.Catering and Bar staff are responsible to clean up after themselves and remove all food and equipment from building and place in dumpster.

  • The Pennington does not carry liquor license. Your individual catering or bar vendors must be licensed.

Planning FAQs

  • Conclusion of your event is determined at time of booking. Music and Bar must end minimum of 1 hour before exit time to allow for packing up.

  • Building is locked/unlocked based on contracted time. Plan for any vendors to set up when scheduling your event.

  • Real flame candles are NOT allowed

  • 2 weeks prior to your event.

  • Event setup and clean up will be determined by the type of event and agreement made with The Pennington. You are responsible to remove and dispose of any food and decor that you brought into The Pennington.

  • Yes Tables and Chairs, including set up and break down, are included. You will determine the quantity needed and they will be set up in your designated space. Black spandex chair covers are available for rental.

  • We offer 300 black spandex chair covers for rental 5.00 each.
